Finally found him.
Today is the first time we are having Starfinder session in over a month.
Good news: All of the players are here tonight.
Bad news: We are in a noodle fight combat against a Nyssholora because of fucking smoke grenades. This combat wasn't planned to happen on night 1...but we had terrible RNG luck.

The extra effort it took to make this Avocado Toast was worth it. I added some of my leftover corn pepper salsa I made yesterday as a bonus topping. Recipe & ingredients in the alt text. Oh and I totally forgot to use my roasted garlic 🤣. I will save it for the pasta salad I am making later.

I haven't cleaned these up yet, but I would consider this set a failure due to the air bubbles. However, I got the vibes I wanted: Vegas Bachelorette Party!

This design came out perfectly! I went outside in 87°F weather to truly capture the sparkles (that is how excited I am for these results). I get heat exhaustion really easily, so I will be on the struggle bus next week. Trying to decide what color to ink these dice in. Any suggestions?

Decided to test paint the pronoun pins in a light green and then two coats of Glow-in-the-Dark paint on top of that. HOLY GLOW this was a fantastic idea! Please excuse that I can't hold a camera for the life of me for more than 1 second without being shaky. I will paint the dice probably tomorrow.

Now for this new set of resin I mixed up, I have high hopes this dice set will turn out well. I kept it simple: one color, one glitter, and used 5 drops of glue. The resin didn't get to a "honey" stage but I stirred it long enough to really activate the exothermic reaction prior to pouring.

Totally forgot to post a picture of how they came out of the pressure pot. Not quite what I was expecting, but at least the glue helped with the fine glitter. I can't decide what color to ink these in.

Adding a drop of clear glue to each half of the resin batch really did the trick (as far as I can tell) to stop the glitter from sinking. Tomorrow I will get to see if my galaxy inspired dice idea really worked. 💜

The Ex-Mørtis dice set and pronoun pins have been inked in an almost flat white (I mixed a tiny bit of pearl in there). For a first set made from my custom dice mold, these turned out well. 🙂

The dice aren't 100% cured yet (need to let them sit for another day to harden up) but holy shit I am so happy how they turned out well. The d8 and d12 are probably salvageable with UV resin. I think I will call these Ex-Mørtis (mainly because this INK song has been stuck in my head all day).

Update: the d% die low face is messed up (one of the double zeros didn't adhere to the lid). I mixed way too much resin for a scratch pour. So I have dice, dice blanks, pronoun pins, and citrus slices with my black/white pearly/glitter split pour design. I hope these come out well.

For the first time since last year, I decided to pick up working with resin again. I kept it simple and made mini UV resin citrus cabochons. Considering that the ones I made last year were all natural citrus colors, these are a fun twist to add to the collection. Now I just need to make dice molds.

It's almost pasta salad season! Legit excited to eat some once the dressing soaks in. I wonder if anyone at tonight's Starfinder session would be willing to try some (if not I will probably share some with my Aunt and Uncle because I made a lot). I try my best to be a somewhat good hostess.

This weekend I have been motivated to declutter my life (slowly). My clutter is so overwhelming that I can't deal with it anymore. Granted I am taking baby steps, but I am very proud of myself for making progress so my house can be "socially acceptable for visitors that aren't used to the madness".

During today's Starfinder session, the party unfortunately lost two members. RIP Kaptain and Marceline who have fallen to a Nihili. Their character sheets have been added to the graveyard wall of other fallen characters (from any campaign played at my house).

I can die happy now. I got to see the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct Live from the Nintendo Store in New York AND the one game I have manifested for YEARS to get a sequel is now a reality. Yes, I legit cried watching this specific trailer live. Sakurai, thank you for keeping Kirby Air Riders a secret.

Update: totally didn't realize I fell asleep still wearing this. 🤣 Everyone had one of these at the party. If you said the word on the pin, yours was taken away by the person who caught you. As you can tell, I did not swear at the party. Mainly because there were a few children present.
