The only thing I can be sure of is that I can't be sure of anything
I agree.

And yet I'll bet you don't comment on drivers not wearing helmets.

Or people in showers.

facilitate drivers to park their cars .... on the cycle-lane.
November 25, 2025 at 8:29 PM
TBH, it will be needed along here. A LOT of people who don't live in the area leave their cars here. They'd be all over the cycle-lane if there weren't proper segegation. It will be difficult to remove these barriers.

Along the quays they've removed the flimsy barriers a number of times to..

Are we referring to racist Farage?
November 25, 2025 at 8:25 PM
Why is that a concern?
November 25, 2025 at 8:13 PM
If they are, they still won't be a dangerous as drivers in their cars.

I bought my phone in 2020. It cost about €150.

My opinion on the matter is that the Venn diagrams of those with the fireworks, and those with the out-of-control dogs, overlap significantly.

Selfish driver today - likely to be a selfish driver everyday.

These blatant acts of anti-social behavior are never a once-off.

plan to deal with it. As I say; extra work-crews for the required period, simlar to other countries having extra work-crews for snow-fall periods.
November 23, 2025 at 12:29 PM
The council needs to have increased work-crews clearing footpaths and road-sides from mid October to end November. There was extensive local flooding all across Dublin earlier this month due to heavy rainfall coinciding with leaf-fall.

Leaf-fall happens every year. There needs to be a proper

a proper countrywide network of PB transport with bus-train interconnectors as has been invested in car transport over the decades, then it would solve a whole lot of the issues.

In my experience of cycling across the city: leaf-blowers are only used by the wealthier households.

Regarding Dunkettle interchange; those who knew, said before it was built that it would fail. It failed. No lessons will be learned.

Matt Cooper is still in the mindset that public transport can't transport as many people as private cars. The truth is the exact opposite. If you invest as much in

I think you'll find that it's $9.12m in today's money. 🙂

TBH, with the way this stuff usually goes (Ryanair for eg), I'll take it as a win. As you can see, I have low expectations.

Condemning socialism...!?!?

America gets more fuking nuts by the day.

Good to know. I've never bought an e-book. And from what you've said, I reckon I won't be buyng any in the future.

That 'if' at the start of the sentence is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
November 21, 2025 at 6:48 PM
this too is, right now, having a damaging effect on the zeitgeist around bicycles amongst people who don't cycle. They didn't need much of an excuse, and so this is bad overall.

My opinion from cycling every day and listening to what people are saying & writing on social media.
November 21, 2025 at 6:45 PM
feedback on regular bicycles. When they 1st started to appear, I thought pedelacs were grand. However they provided cover for all the rest of the shit that's now speeding around along footpath & cycleways. I absolutely hate them. The majority of people who don't cycle have no idea of the differences
