Expedition 33 gets away with genAI because it's Good. ARC Raiders doesn't get away with it because it's not Good. Halo is trying to get away with it by being/making you think it's Good. Marathon doesn't get away with theft because it's not Good.

Meanwhile Valve literally deliberately misled people into thinking HL3/Episode 3 were ever coming when internally they knew they had no intention to make it because they were raking in cash as a digital land lord, but they have NEVER been taken to task for this, because Half-Life/Steam are Good.
