House of Open Wounds has the most interesting characters and relationships, I think, and that may also pull it into first for me? It is quite hard though, each book does some things better than the other two.

I have a really hard time choosing which of the three I have read so far is my favorite, but City of Last Chances might take it. Such a rich world. I will have to check out the audiobook sometime!
