I’m so very sorry he’s gone. My mom lost her best friend, my grandfather, her dog, and then my wonderful dad in a 3-year span. Mom found joy in our wedding, x infinity in our kids, and our mutual love, Goldie. Biopsies, removals, we’re now staving off mast cell tumors in Goldie with antihistamines.

I just read The Cellist of Sarajevo while we drove over the mountains from Podgorica down in to Sarajevo. We visited a small harrowing museum that reflects the hellscape of neighbors turning against each other. I do not wish this for anyone anywhere. Peace is the only path to prosperity.

We need to all say it is a waste of taxpayer dollars and our military’s time.
