i think i finally have come up with a solid design for the portalinux ports system
there are 4 modes of operations within ports: toolchain, rootfs, cross-rootfs and bootstrap
the main two are toolchain and rootfs, as those describe different install schemes and toolchain arrangements

i guess, while i'm still here, im still working on portalinux stuff. i've made a lot of changes to the ports system and it should hopefully be ready enough for a rootfs-test or toolchain-test release

yeah, uhhh... i should just make the current release of pl-srv the 1.00 release. it's good enough for the purposes of portalinux already, everything else that i wanna add (timers, systemd unit file support, etc) can be added later

in other news, my desktop is up and running now, which means i'm ready to develop :3
currently working on pltermlib. will move over to pl-srv later, and then working on file persistence. i'll start work on ports again too. plfbl and pltk are just gonna be shelved for now

looking back at a lot of the systemd hate, it really felt so forced. i agree with almost all of the points that people against systemd bring up, but then they ruin it by suggesting we all return to sysvinit instead of actually trying to improve the systemd model
