Just found an infinite nail glitch in Silksong… as one does.

Minor Silksong spoilers for western area of map.

Literally got this card the moment after they updated it 😳

After LESS THAN 2 MONTHS of use, my right Joycon 2 is stained with black marks where it connects to the Switch 2 unit.

I’m unsure if the red paint has been scratched off or if the main unit’s coating has stained the controller. Disappointed to see wear and tear this early on regardless.

FFIV was bold… for about 10 hours. It leaves behind the unquestionable righteousness of previous parties… at the start. It uses biblical allusions to tell a story about sin and forgiveness… for the most part. This was, so far, my favorite Final Fantasy… until the ending.

Envisioning the original Final Fantasy, without having engaged with the series, I imagined something akin to FFIII.

Gotta go with the title screen to end all title screens, of course

FFII: You know when a child tells you a story and they have the basic elements of the story and they tell you details randomly and they tell it using the same words and phrases and the story almost makes sense so it’s endearing albeit jumbled? That’s FFII.

FFI: I played the pixel remaster, so from my understanding, that means the game actually works. It is barebones, but I’d compare it to a strict game of D&D. If you can be engaged in the traditional world of the DM, then it’s great! Otherwise, you’re in for a bad time…

Fuck it! Final Fantasy media thread. Been wanting to get into this series by playing the main games in sequential order. I’ll add each one as I complete it. But here’s what I’m finding out along the way:

Fun fact from my Xenoblade video: this title screen without the “press any button” prompt was entirely an accident, not modded. It was caused by some glitch of exiting out of the event theater at the wrong time. Never seen anyone else able to replicate it either. This is all the footage I have left

Don't think I'll ever discuss most of these, but here are my absolute favorite video games.

Guilty Gear, Minecraft, Shadow of the Colossus, Super Metroid, Celeste, and Tetris may come as a surprise (since I've never really talked about them).

But Zelda shouldn't. I talk too much about Zelda...
