2 cases of public engagement
A nest of white breasted waterhen chicks were "rescued", yet wild birds have a complex diet, plus the stress of sudden changes of environment, the chicks did not make it.

Crested goshawk, beak broken and unable to open, died of starvation.

The Vets introduced us to BCS, we found that most birds that died from window collision have a BCS of 4 or 5. Meaning it's possibly removing the strongest from the population.

We provided a new way for vets to observe injuries, through Daiphonization.

What happens when I encounter a wild bird on the ground?
1. Is it alive?
Yes→ call wildlife centers for further assistance.
No→ Record, Report, and deliver to national institutions for free.
The specimen will then be processed to join the collection.

Founded in 2011, TaiRON has now accumulated over 241,000 reported cases.
Reports on Bird-Glass Collisions was inspired by that, from 2019, we've accumulated over 1,200 reported cases, and collected over 400 specimens.
