Damn, it was an app screenshot I took using my personal phone for UAT. Well, that got "likely accurate" in a hurry. 🤣

Cranberry sauce is also killer on fish tacos 😄

(esp. w/ a little white onion, green onion, tartar sauce, whatever greens of choice, & a bit of shredded sharp white cheddar)

I started doing this in 2023, initially because of paywalls and Google search not being reliable -- exact terms from a recipe started returning crap listicles.

This is changing my book purchasing, too; the old cues for "quality vs not" no longer work.

The pricing structure for a long time was federally set, too. Want to fly from NYC to LA leaving at 8am on a Tuesday? All flights cost the same. Airlines competed on service and perks.

It's weird that the journalist here neglected to mention that Waymo robotaxis already operate in the greater Phoenix area (and have for a few years now).

Tesla is irresponsible and likely higher risk, which I think was your point, but they're also adding robots to robots there ...not ideal.

My BF's business partner, like many people, named his AI assistant and abuses it verbally, daily. This is a kind of hoplessness. Nobody is perfectly civil, we're all fuzzy beasts. But out of ALL possible selves we can choose to be, I hope for the majority of the time most of us can choose better.

Whatever self I compose in response to my environment can vary, but it's still me who is making those choices & those choices make up "me." There's room for play, nonsense, reinvention. But if I choose to be a harm-happy jerk then that's what I make myself, regardless of how "real" the audience is.

...and online behavior. I think ppl believe they can spend time interacting with other people or AI mimics or literally anything and somehow "it doesn't count" or "it's not me. No, actually, THIS IS YOU. If you delight in kicking the crap out of people or AI, it's you who's debasing yourself.
