Technology has just got so much better and cheaper over the years, and with enough planning great directors/cinematographers/designers can make the most of the available resources. Don't quote me on this but I recall reading that budgets had decreased several times after RTD1 but it doesn't look it.

S26 is the perfect ending: Ace's arc in Ghost Light/Fenric; 7 and The Master's fight alluding to An Unearthly Child; and of course that final scene. If the show has to end again i'd rather this vibe than something like The Doctor Falls, as much as I adore it.

I saw it last night. Enjoyed it but then i'm a fan of most of Lanthimos's films
