How long till someone holds Uber and Lyft accountable for false advertising on estimated wait times? It seems like “1-3 minutes” is always “20-30 minutes”.

This was our first flight to Friday Harbor. The sky was much clearer which made for good sightseeing.
I really liked the contrasts in this delta of the mainland.

This was one of two flights we had to friday Harbor. There had been some forest fires in the area making for an incredible sky.

I realized I still have a bunch of photos from Washington this summer I haven’t posted yet. I like the simplicity of this one. Fittingly it’s from a fun afternoon with different Hoesterey men taking us around on their respective plate/boat.

Some pictures from our time at the Dallas Arboretum last month. There were _so many_ pumpkins and pumpkin structures! I loved seeing all the Oaxacan inspired art!

Used my digital driver’s license for the first time today at the airport. There’s a long way to go before a physical ID isn’t needed though. Seems like a chicken and egg adoption problem so I don’t see much movement on that front.

Waterpik should be marketing their water flosser as “a pressure washer for your teeth.” That sounds like a much more satisfying product than “a better dental floss.”

We went to the Seattle Aquarium for the first time last week. There were some pretty impressive displays. The large tank at the new pavilion is quite impressive.
