Bombus! Will be coming down after tomorrow, but soon we’ll have a brand new show for you to see! “The Gravity of Landscapes” features works by Reno artist Tamami Tokutake that capture the Great Basin’s beauty in pastel. Exhibit opens the 14th with an artist reception on the 17th!
In honor of National Hat Day, we went deep into the collection and found this fantastic woman’s hat (ca 1920s) from the Merton Domonoske Collection!

On this day in 1904, Fallon officially became the Churchill County Seat, snatching the title from Stillwater. This probably should not have come as a surprise, as the courthouse was completed the year before!

You might have heard we’re getting rid of the penny and wondering what that means for you. I’m not sure (I’m just the social media guy) but perhaps coin purses like this one – with spring-loaded spots sized for nickels, dimes, and quarters – will come back into style?

We've heard some people were concerned to see the siding coming off of the Woodliff Building, but don't worry! This is all part of the preservation process. By replacing the old, worn out siding, we're better able to protect the structural integrity of this historic building.
