It's not so much on transit that is a safety problem as it is at stations or bus stops in my exp. The bus stop outside cap hill station seems to get sketchier every day, for example.

Add a kid some family lived near the Canadian border and we used to see the commercials for these mysterious Aero Bars there on the Canadian station. Oddly I remember they also played old Batman reruns a lot.

Within the last five minutes I've seen posts that say "breaking news" with just an image, but don't have a link until you go to the comments. People are getting trained because Meta platforms in particular downrank any post that has a link in it, and that's one way to circumvent.

We need to accept the realities that a large group of people could not in good conscious support an administration that was doing nothing about Gaza, while a second group could not in good conscious vote for anyone but Harris.

What broke is the Democratic leadership creating this divide.

The Seattle Times has no interest in anything that's not a completely milquetoast, middle-of-the-road perspective these days.

They are a sinking ship too afraid of losing subscribers and business interests to take an authentic stand or perform actual journalism.
