The photos of those Haitian refugees was his first big break, as they earned him the Robert Capa Gold Medal award, which catapulted his career. But at the moment he took the images, he and the other men on the boat thought they were going to die.

I've been feeling this way for a while. I don't think the authoring experience is the hard part. The trouble is I don't know how to make the publishing step easier for an audience that isn't comfortable with git or working in the CLI, short of a hosted saas platform

In Telemelt, every player runs the emulator locally while peer-to-peer networking keeps state synced between players. The controller can be passed seamlessly, and the controller player is never subject to any network latency.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but do you know if anyone is evaluating straight up using HTML? Wordpress Gutenberg has shown that you can build a modern, predictable block editor experience that deserializes from the exact same HTML that you serve to visitors

How much fidelity are you thinking for the icons? First thing I thought of is a halftone radial gradient with a radius line. I made a google images screenshot mockup of the idea but idk whether it would scale down well

I should mention! It works with Bash, ZSH, and Fish. Windows builds will work with Powershell. It should theoretically work fine on Linux right now but I haven't tested it yet

Definitely Powershell! If nothing else, for my own sanity - trying to integrate with CMD is hellish. There's not even a good way to get a pty going with it tbh
