Attempt #2 still had bubbles despite the silicone stirring stick, and I learned that I should warm up the resin before mixing because my basement is too cold, and a vacuum degasser is not effective at removing bubbles from resin.

Attempt #1 had way too many bubbles, and I learned I should mix the resin with a silicone stirring stick and *not* a popsicle stick. A popsicle stick is too rough and porous and introduces thousands of micro-bubbles.

New (and unfortunately expensive) hobby: Making dice. This was my first good set (though the third attempt) and was a gift to my daughter.

My 3D printing hobby has now evolved beyond a shelf in my office to it's own space in the basement.

Still a work in progress, but I just finished setting up a fume ventilation system for my new Elegoo Saturn 4. Also pictured is my old Ender 3 Pro.

For anyone interested, the model is called "Not another LEGOBrick Wreath" by NeoRame on makerworld.com.

For the filament, I used Bambu Basic PLA in Red, White, Yellow, and Mistletoe Green.

I'm ashamed, this poor neglected ladder has not been able to live up to it's full potential. I must make amends this summer and install it.

Christmas tabletop gaming haul. This is just the stuff my wife and kids got me, or that my wife and I got for the family and doesn't include the games we got just for them.

We like our games in this house.

My hobby project for the next few weeks: an Arduino sensor kit to monitor my 3D printer enclosure for Temperature, Humidity, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and ultrafine particulates, as well as to control LED lighting and the fan to a HEPA/carbon filtration system.
