We have had a fantastic time in Peru so far, we fell in love with Miraflores and Barranco, and tomorrow we get to play in dune buggies in Pisco! It just might take a little while before I have the energy to share all about our adventures! K

In 1647 they began rebuilding and construction was completed in 1666 (seems like a bad year to finish in terms of religion…). This building has now been standing for 369 years and is the main church in the town of Trujillo.

This is the Catedral de Trujillo (Cathedral of Trujillo if you couldn’t figure that out 😂🤣). The original church was built in the 1500’s but was destroyed by an earthquake in 1619, along with the town.

We got an Uber from the Plaza de Armas in Salaverry to the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo and did some exploring before a late lunch in a cute little cafe.
