How did they decorrelate micro pollution from noise? Many studies show that exposure to fine particles PM2.5 is extremely detrimental to cardiac health, and areas at proximity to airport are typically above health threshold for those same particles.

We find:
1. the reward place cells follow the reward on a trial-by-trial basis
2. regular change in reward location induces a higher reward place cell population and
3. regularity is represented in hippocampal networks via warped metrics that link salient events.

Our study reveals how place cell calcium activity responds when the reward location changes suddenly and compares groups of mice trained to different degrees of predictability of the reward.
