The warm wind blowing into France coming from Africa last week finally left and Winter has arrived here as well. Commuting with the bicyle at -1°C 🥶

This would also not be the first time that a movie or series was ruined by making it more "relatable". I tried to watch "Rematch" on Disney+, on the chess matches between Kasparov vs. Deep Blue. Whenever Deep Blue is thinking, C++ code is scrolling very quickly over the screen 🤦

An LLM generated paper has been submitted multiple times and one of the submissions has 2x rating "8" and fortunately a 0. It was desk-rejected from ICLR.

More info is available and searchable but I don't want to shame the authors publicly. But yes, this is very wrong! Also having multiple 8s !!

You are not the only one who had that thought, @fguney.bsky.social seems to share this 😂 (and me too).

This should also be called "l'appel de la catastrophe" ...

4. I also plug-in some of our own Figures mixing 3D vs 2D:

3. I also appreciate when 3D is mixed with 2D in a helpful way, as often stuff IS 3D: either because of 3D vision, or just because of different tensor dims.

2. Colors: that's surely subjective, but I think you can't go wrong with pastel, it's the least aggressive.

(Nice paper by FAIR/Meta, but I think the Figure could have had some more details on where Q,K,Vs go)

So, I like a couple of things.

1. When architecture information is combined with a Figure showing what actually happens with the data:
