But I've only very vaguely heard about 432. I would worry that it would just sound flat to our ears. Then again some orchestras use 442, 443 or 444 and it sounds great. Will take a listen

Thank you Billy for forcing me to come out with guns blazing onto BlueSky. I know about pitch being lower in the C17th-18th, and the modern invention of "baroque pitch" to imitate this and make it easier to play period instruments (settling on 415 Hz, conveniently a semitone lower than 440)
