Winter tires make way more of a difference than AWD especially because being able to stop quickly is the most important. My shitty FWD sedan with good snow tires will do better than a AWD car with all season tires in every metric.

That Corsa was my first ever car. Took it on a road trip to London and it broke down there and back after screaming on the motorway for 5 hours. Miss that thing

Nope! Totally agreed. I don’t want some futuristic looking thing with a giant touch screen interface. Just a regular looking car with actual buttons and an electric motor. I’m hoping things change by the time I’m ready to buy an EV but doubt it

How vital is it to validate the # of digits after the decimal point, or can you just let it round during INSERT? If you can then min(0) and max(999.99) is what I’d do. Only other thing I can think of is a regex rule, but not sure if that rule would cast the number to a string before evaluating 🤔

10 mins is definitely not enough time to melt ice on a windshield, speaking from experience haha. Next car I buy a heated windshield will be a requirement

I switched back to a regular looking email because of this, I found that lots of customer support people would think it’s an invalid email, or I’d have trouble communicating the “nope .me is real” part

So, pay check comes in, you immediately assign it to categories for future spending. If you assign your money as it’s spent, it’s really nothing more than a glorified spreadsheet.
But if you’re interested in YNAB to begin with you probably know all of that already :)

Everyone else covered some good tips. Only tip I have is YNAB only works well when you fully adopt the zero based budgeting technique. If you’re only reactive (categorizing after you spend) you won’t see much value in it. You really gotta be proactive (categorize before spending) to see the value

Is it multiplayer? If not I’d agree, make it client-driven as much as possible. If it is I think take a page from other online multiplayer games, have the client be as opportunistic as possible to reduce lag but have “important” decisions (like hit reg in an FPS) be done on the server
