ArtQuest is so awesome.

In the category of "technically involves water but not a pool," I love the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro. They have a great water table area that's tons of fun for little ones. And the museum just feels so manageable (unlike Adventure Science Center, which was difficult when I had preschoolers).

Wave Country has a kid pool that is great for that age, but if either kiddo is a runner and likely to run to the big pool, that could be rough. Donelson Y has a great kids' pool, and it's completely separate from the bigger pool, so it works well for keeping little kids safe.
