The cowardice of Merrick Garland has been a big part of that failure. If the Democrats get power again they need an AG like Jack Smith, and all the other agencies need to get out of the way while he gets all the traitors this time. Laser focused and no pussy footing around so called precedent.

According to doctors, Trump has maybe 3 to 4 months to live, with the effect of his strokes, heart failure, and treatment for Alzheimer's. So with no achievements and no legacy he is desperate to have his name on every government building. Of course it can all be wiped away when he is gone.

This is a sure sign the doctors observing his health are right. He has 3 to 4 months left on this Earth and is desperate to have his name plastered on every building. He has no legacy of achievements to leave behind. So he thinks having his name everywhere somehow compensates.

Because of the limits put on impeachment, you need a majority in the House to get a trial, and then 67 votes in Senate to convict. It's system designed to stop conviction, unless in this case Democrats have a massive Senate majority or the GOP grows a spine.
