Using tools from ArcGIS, our study team evaluated the geographic accessibility of otolaryngologists for Vermonters and systematically categorized otolaryngology clinics using the trauma center framework by @facs.org. Check it out here - dx.doi.org/10.1002/lio2....

The gender and pitch within a surgeon’s voice can influence patient perception of surgeon skills and attributes. In our study, while female voices were associated with more compassionate attributes, this did not translate into higher patient satisfaction scores than males. @stanfordohns.bsky.social
