Is the impact of putting 10,000 litres per second of colder water back into the River Rhine assessed?

Why would he be worth nothing without corporate welfare?

Haven’t a lot of the victims said they’re happy to be identified?

He’s all class 🙂
December 13, 2025 at 12:46 AM
Why don’t they just come out and say it, “we deported him because he’s not white”?

NZ seems to have to go through this pain every now and then when governments are paralysed by blind faith that the market will sort things out.

I’m sure that’s wonderful, but my favourite Chinese restaurants are where the chefs probably don’t speak much English, the tables are full of Asians and Sichuan is on the menu!
December 10, 2025 at 9:42 AM
Except that of course Chinese is the greatest cuisine on the planet!!

If they have no warrant you don’t open the door and you tell them to get off your property
December 9, 2025 at 10:38 AM
Sure, but the crime is not trespass.
December 9, 2025 at 2:44 AM
No one's arguing she didn't interfere with private property. They argument put by the original commenter was that they're trespassing.
December 9, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Sure, but it's not trespass.
December 9, 2025 at 2:43 AM
That's a very good point, but they are more likely to be ICE.
December 9, 2025 at 2:42 AM
No, it means they can't be prosecuted for trespass, only damage.
December 9, 2025 at 2:41 AM
1. Agreed, no right to touch the camera.
2. A warrant is not needed to approach and knock on a door.
3. We don't know if they had a warrant or not.
4. They are federal law enforcement officers/agents of the US Department of Homeland Security.
December 9, 2025 at 1:46 AM
They weren't entering the home. They were approaching the door.
December 9, 2025 at 1:41 AM
They don't need to be invited to approach a door. A locked gate would be needed to stop them at the property boundary.

Yes they interfered with private property (illegal), but they're not trespassing by approaching the door.
December 9, 2025 at 1:38 AM
All we see is that they approach a door (perfectly legal) and tamper with the security camera (generally illegal). You can't make any judgements beyond that. For all we know, there might not have even been anybody home.
December 9, 2025 at 1:21 AM
They don't need a warrant to approach a door. They're simply not trespassing. Let's stick with what they do get wrong, which is plenty.
December 9, 2025 at 1:18 AM
😂
December 9, 2025 at 12:54 AM
You can't get ICE agents for trespass when approaching a front door. Trespass requires being on property for an unlawful purpose.

And we've already learnt that AI can be creative. The first examples were Chess and Go strategies; ones that humans had never thought of before.
December 8, 2025 at 6:22 PM
But those companies have entrenched interests for other forms of architectural documentation. More likely it'll come from a startup without any baggage.

It is funny to see some of the architectural slop that AI creates, but it's only a matter of time before it's not.
December 8, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Well, let's see. I'm not convinced it will be a bad thing.
