Okay, so these are the best mini pavlovas I've ever made. Not that I've made a lot of them, of course, but I'm pretty proud. I topped them with whipped cream and an apple/strawberry compote. A little MWA/NY runner-up award celebration treat. Yeah, I'm still jazzed!

My unpublished novel, "A Killing in Black Newport" was runner-up for the 2024 Leon Burstein Award for aspiring crime writers given by the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of America last night. Thanks again to Nev March, President of the MWA/NY chapter, and all the judges!
