These too have been waiting patiently on my bookshelf for years. I did start Quicksilver years ago in college but I wasn’t ready for Stephenson at that point.

I thoroughly enjoyed Something Wicked and I appreciated the lyrical prose much more than the first time I read it in high school. I can definitely see its influence on writers like Neil Gaiman and Stephen King (especially It). Plus, what a stellar opening.

Just finished Something Wicked this Way Comes and started into Lonesome Dove. I’ve had the whole Hyperion series sitting on my bookshelf for almost a decade now. @jaycooperbell.dev has also recommended it. Perhaps it’s time.
