And we should do the same with this. I hate the feeling that a billionaire company is utilising its community because of its love to the game just to earn as much money as possible. They aren’t even pretending anymore. Releasing 150+ bug fixes shouldn’t be a thing if they cared in the first place.

But the reality is, EA knows and it’s taking advantage of us. They know that we will buy anything they release even if it’s just a piece of sh*t, and so they don’t care anymore. In other aspects of our lives, these would not happen. You would not buy something that it’s not worth your money.

Recently it’s become very clear to me that The Sims 4 is like a toxic relationship: there’s clearly something wrong with it, but you keep going back to it over and over again. We literally decide to blindfold ourselves to not see all this just because we love this game.

I don’t wanna be the one spreading negativity and destructive criticism, after all there are real people behind this. But this is not ok. We are talking about a multimillionaire company who can’t even create a little item without messing it up.

I guess it depends. I don’t play with cheats and I have some mods that reduce the amount of money you get from selling collectibles or going to work, so I usually don’t have that much money to spend lol. But a lot of people play with cheats, so I guess it makes sense hehe

Tbf, there are lots of balconies so I feel like they have plenty of spaces to hangout outdoors. Also, I generally tend to like more when builders make the most of the lot. I hate when people only build on half of the lot as if we have a huge amount of lots in The Sims 4 😭

that they will keep releasing some Sims 4 videos until the buyout is officially completed or Paralives releases. It’s kind of bittersweet though - I’ve loved this game for a lot of years, but greedy billionaire companies suck. The Sims could have been so good if it wasn’t because of EA 😔

This is exactly what I thought when I first heard about it. If they really think they can get along with slightly updating the base game and selling it as a different game just to basically resell the same DLC’s, they have lost their minds. I’ve already decided I won’t buy the next iteration of Sims

Like it is so weird to me. You click on your zoi, and there is a category specific to Halloween animations with those poses as interactions. Like do they plan on having that in there all year round? It makes no sense to me personally 🤦🏻‍♂️
