Alternatively, I did notice a few of the journalists covering ANU, studied at Canberra University. I didn’t think the rivalry was that bad, but any chance to bring down the tall poppy?

It seems much more personal with ANU.

From what I’ve seen, Bell inherited the problems, but could have handled them better. I don’t think sacking the VC (or Chancellor) changes anything significantly for the ANU.

Perhaps the staff and students feel more attached to the ANU, than UTS? Or maybe 🤔

This also explains why when you ask a slightly unusual question from a support team, you get an answer to the more obvious question. We’ve trained them to answer the obvious questions.
