I love Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water. I recently rediscovered a sketchbook piece I did of the Amphibian Man/The Asset (played by the wonderful Doug Jones) from 8 years ago. With del Toro’s Frankenstein now out, it felt like the perfect time to share this watercolor piece again.

I talked about getting back into anime recently. I finally watched “your name” which I’ve wanted to do since it came out and my goodness! I get it now. Such a beautiful film. Watching Frieren now and I absolutely adore that show! What an interesting concept. Loving it all!

My son has recently got me back into anime. Outside of Ranma 1/2, I’ve been outside of the anime bubble these past few years. He got me hooked on Demon Slayer and he shared Look Back (both anime and manga) with me, which I loved.
So I ask, any recommendations?
