what makes you think he even wants to save his job? Evidence or gut feeling
April 28, 2025 at 7:44 AM
The *players* treated the game like a friendly.
April 28, 2025 at 7:43 AM
I dont even think it's that complex. There are fairly simple fixes for a lot of our issues, football is a simple game at heart.
April 23, 2025 at 3:07 PM
I dont rate managers by ostentatious gestures either, i rate them by their results. but if they are complaining about a lack of focus and starting matches badly, you can mitigate these issues in-game. This is basically the point of an assistant manager, to be constantly on the players in-game
April 23, 2025 at 3:05 PM
it translates to the pitch. Peps' city, Arteta's Arsenal, Klopps liverpool, the way the team played reflects the manager on the toucline. Pep wants constant pressing and running, so he communicates this to the players via body language. Klopp the same. Ange too, but not in a good way
April 23, 2025 at 3:03 PM
read somewhere that we have gone a goal down at home in 15 of our home games this season in the PL, which is an all-time record for any club. This is an attitude/motivational issue rather than a tactical/personnel issue.
April 23, 2025 at 12:07 PM
Ange needs to provide in-game coaching/motivation from the touchline. or delegate his assistant to. If players are losing focus in-game, find a way to mitigate. This is why mgrs spend 90min bellowing from the sidelines, to make sure players are switched on. Ange should not think he is above this
April 23, 2025 at 12:05 PM
he made a big noise about Johnson being his top target. Hasn't said a word about Odobert. Johnson has a lot of goal involvements but RW is a black hole of nothingness when he plays. Also Ange can veto transfers if he wants. He needs to be more discerning about who we sign

accountability
April 23, 2025 at 9:59 AM
makes you wonder why he decided to sign Werner twice and Johnson once. Needs to make better decisions in this respect
April 23, 2025 at 9:58 AM
fyi mate there are quite a few wools on twitter that you left un-filled
February 26, 2025 at 5:55 PM
the problem is the guy has chronic verbal diarrhoea. Banged on about how lucky we were to have a player of Timo Werner's quality joining us. alarm bells were ringing then but ppl said 'if Ange wants him then so do I'. Now apparently Ange didn't want him at all 😭

people who specifically do not take kindly to the tactics that Levy has used elsewhere, and will come back and get their revenge on you for trying. We are reaping the consequences of Levy's approach
January 28, 2025 at 3:41 PM
the reason is that in the business world you can just bully and bigfoot your way around. Requires little actual skill or nous, just the ability to be a unscrupulous and powerful.

the world of football requires much more subtlety and skill to negotiate. You are dealing with people on a equal footing
January 28, 2025 at 3:39 PM
want even fans who wanted it....it was firstly managers looking for easy excuses post match when their team has lost. Then it was the media regurgitating it...then the fans just went along with it like the nation of bootlicking peasants we are
January 28, 2025 at 3:35 PM
the chronic problems aren't with the institutions of officialdom. they are within the institutions of journalism and fandom, which have led us on this fool's errand of VAR.

VAR was like Brexit - was never supposed to happen. Was supposed to be a basement dwellers threat
January 28, 2025 at 9:03 AM
People just need to stop moaning. Referees aren't perfect, never have been, never will be. And this frankly childish quest for ultimate fairness is working about as well as any mature, intelligent person thought it would.

VAR is a stupid idea, dreamt up by stupid people, empowered by weak vassals
January 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM
since this tweet, Sarr, Spence and Maddison have been injured as well. And we've lost to Everton and Leicester. Honestly this guy is a poor man's brendan rodgers

Bad chairman hires bad sporting director who hires bad manager

until next season when the exact same thing happens again

'unrelated to the current predicament' lol you aren't very bright are you
January 22, 2025 at 2:30 PM
but we appear to want to double down on it now, like if everyone believes hard enough it will work
