OK, Copenhagen not great, GK had a bad time, they maybe didn't press per CFC cartilagefreecaptain.sbnation.com/champions-le... (but PPDA not that low?) but this passmap per @mclachbot.com suggests a clearly different structure to the last few games so, look, i'm choosing optimism 🙈

Not clear the (progressive) passing really shows up in the numbers (at least on fbref) but some coverage of this on @spursiq.substack.com piece too...certainly if VdV did become a + (line-breaking) passer per HB 121 advice that would be big

Hype aside, feels like there's a good chance Vuskovic comes back in Jan 🤷 Wonder whether KD + LV would actually be a better combination than VdV + KD. Maybe Hamburg get Takai on loan to smooth it out!

Sure, it's the championship but being in the 98th% or better for progressive passes *and* carries seems handy

I really like MGW too and have for a long time. He was my favourite in the U17 team way back www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/foo... but have never been convinced by the idea of him in a DP. Believe he could do it but not sure that would be an effective use of him but hey IDK.
