Also fascinating to compare to Oscar Isaac's career run over that same time, because as much as we remember the absolute banger performances in there, there's a lot of real dogshit

I gotta say, if I was David Ellison and THIS was my 2026 slate, I'd maybe get my own house in order before gallivanting off to buy a shiny new toy

John Byrne presents: A Superman Hallmark Christmas (the lure of the big city and a fast-talking cynical reporter has nothin' on small-town Americana and the hometown gal who got away!)

But what age is this Frankenstein? GDT refuses to tell us, unlike the noble Mel Brooks!

I really love how Dick Dillin draws Ralph Dibney in the Satellite-era League, really makes him live up to "Elongated Man" in every panel, even just 'standing around exposition' stuff

Ah yes, a roving gang of Boxer Bandits, the Diamond District's lousy with 'em

Randomly decided to google various non-Batman/Superman DC characters to see if Tim Sale had ever drawn them and boy, it's a shame he never got to do a big "Whole DCU project" the way Darwyn Cooke did with The New Frontier

Last night myself and a couple of others watched The Shining Forwards and Backwards (this version of The Shining that overlays the film in reverse over the film playing out as normal) and boy, did the juxtaposition REALLY hone in on Jack Torrance as abusive monster from the get-go.

Lots of exciting DC title announcements today but when will they let me do a 1940s-set Johnny Thunder miniseries, it's Jeeves and Wooster except Jeeves is a literal genie and they fight Nazis! It's a goldmine, Jim Lee! A goldmine!

On the right, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, preparing to stop Jared Leto from ever being in a SW movie.

Diego Olortegui really good at the large-scale spectacle stuff, which is ideal for this book too

Now THIS is a proper JSA line-up - full of fun characters across multiple generations, wildly diverse power sets, but also if necessary they can completely just dogpile the baddies

Funny that Hollywood keeps trying to do Parker adaptations, even when there are good ones they're never going to be as cool or look as good as Darwyn Cooke's Parker comics

What they're not telling you is that while it was filmed with "a script", they used the script for A Big Bold Beautiful Journey

This is the one I would've done (and if it was a solo crossover, Daredevil and Huntress), but Daredevil with any GL would be fun - I'm sure they'd do it with Hal, but I think Jessica or Kyle would be a particularly cool choice for a crossover with Matt.
