Old oilman, now new green man.
Is there a poll for the whole electorate as to who would make a better Prime Minister between Rayner and Streeting?

I agree, but I wish he would change his Rikki Fulton "I. M. Jolly" tone of speech. He needs to lighten up!

(you'll need to Google it, before your time)

Just tried out Opera and Mojeek. Does anybody have any comments?

Who's to blame for turning the country into a nation of grifting landlords?

Thatcher/Major or Blair/Brown?

So, who would you pick?

Well since they have oked the embassy this should get the nod.

I heard her on the radio at lunchtime . She was brilliant. Need to get her on more often.

Is there a deadline for a decision on this?
February 10, 2026 at 4:43 PM
If she is hated by the Daily Wail, then she's perfect for the job. I take their hit job as a ringing endorsement.

He's going to be a lonely figure on the doorstep. I've always considered him to be a really smart guy, but somebody must have added something to his popcorn while he was watching the Superbowl. He's had a complete mental breakdown and I, for one, won't be knocking any doors for him.
February 10, 2026 at 11:01 AM
No, he's completely lost the place.
February 9, 2026 at 6:51 PM
I shook his hand on Thursday evening.

Going for the "Glasgow kiss" approach was never a sensible idea.

Just resigned from Scottish Labour.

It's actually Sarwar, but your spot on with your other comments
February 9, 2026 at 3:47 PM
Or Rayner for that matter.
February 8, 2026 at 7:28 PM
Yes, but they still wouldn't have voted for Corbyn.
February 8, 2026 at 7:25 PM
Yes, exactly, voters were prepared to vote for Starmer who would never have voted for Corbyn.
February 8, 2026 at 6:32 PM
Sorry, I disagree. It reinforces the claim that they are all just the same. Starmer has completely blown it.
February 8, 2026 at 6:15 PM
I find this totally out of character. I've always considered you to be a nice kindly individual, certainly not one who sticks the knife in and twists it with relish.
February 8, 2026 at 5:17 PM
He really must think Perri is crap.
February 6, 2026 at 7:41 PM
Actually if he says he wants PR in the next Labour manifesto, it could save him!
February 6, 2026 at 3:51 PM
He should stay until the party conference and give a valedictory speech. He deserves to go out at a time of his choosing and be thanked for what he has done over the past two years. Personally, I think he has achieved a remarkable amount of stuff but he's also made some monumental cock-ups.
