Dylan’s first pair of shoes are in there. We were so proud to buy them for him. I can’t put into words how it feels to look at them in this context.

Pushing my kid in his stroller as we head to a swimming lesson and just been hit in the gut by this memorial to the children of Palestine.

Just a bus ride away from here, there’s a factory pumping out parts for the same F-35 jets used to kill these same kids. I am so full of rage.

Hot damn, Suzerain for a fiver is an incredible purchase.

I'm not sure I've played many true political simulators that have really sunk their teeth into me, but this is definitely one of them.

Also, just a fantastic game for people who enjoy looking at beautiful maps.

This is genuinely what a Labour government thinks terrorism looks like in the UK right now and I'm losing my god damn mind

This includes some of my absolute favourite Patreon bits we've ever done, including the time we toured a farmer's trade show in Birmingham, ventured through VRChat in 2022, or played an Escape Room while the room's staff watched us on CCTV and gave live commentary.

For context, that same video has made about $750 so far in ad revenue on YouTube, so needless to say, we just couldn't do this type of work without the incredible support of our patrons.

It's the only business model that works for something like PMG!

Just received an invoice for the legal fees on our latest Disco Elysium documentary...

Since we published our follow-up, both Argo and Dora have now publicly responded to ZA/UM's statements about them in the documentary, which they strongly reject and describe as defamatory.

And they brought a lot of screenshots too.

And finally, the chapter that has cost PMG literally over £1000 in legal advice.

You may have already heard that Argo & Dora are being sued by a rival company making one of these other Disco successors.

Here, for the first time, is that story told in full.

Then it's off to Croatia to meet Argo Tuulik and Dora Klindžić to find out how their relationships with ZA/UM's leadership team have now also ended on the very worst possible terms.

We, of course, ask Argo if this experience has reshaped how he feels about the interview he gave to us in 2023.

This is then followed by a whirlwind tour through everything we know about the five(!!!) different games studios vying to create a 'spiritual successor' to Disco Elysium.

Loads of interesting tidbits you might not have heard already in here, I think.

This follow-up is split into four chapters, the first of which has been a long time coming!

Given everything that's taken place since we first investigated the allegations surrounding ZA/UM, I have some reflections to share on our previous work.

The Freedom Flotilla is moments away from being intercepted by the Israeli military and I’ve barely seen any coverage from the UK press.

Al Jazeera is providing live updates here:

It's free to attend and there'll be a bunch of cool indie games to play as well. And according to the event page, free boba!

If you live near Baltimore, I'm going to be at the Enoch Pratt Free Library next month interviewing Jake Solomon (of XCOM and Midnight Suns fame) about what it's like trying to launch a new video games studio amidst... all of this.

Very similar language from Andrew Feinstein last week as well, mentioning people "in very sensitive positions" being involved.

Corbyn all but confirmed a new leftwing party over the weekend, suggesting it could bring together independent MPs and councillors "long before" the local elections next year.

And a big thanks thanks to @annahollinrake.com and @jcvim.bsky.social for coming along with us and also, for agreeing to strap GoPros to their heads. We couldn't have asked for better crewmates.

Was feeling pretty despondent as I waited to renew my media visa this morning, but seeing this from the queue helped:

Highly recommend reading this utter shite aloud to somebody in your most serious, failed technocrat voice.

This’ll fend off Reform, lads. Nice one.

Interestingly, Nintendo has already been shipping hundreds of thousands of Switch 2 units to the US since at least the beginning of the year, hoping to reduce the effect of whatever tariffs end up being enforced on Vietnam.
