I was always excited that my in-laws had hung my eclipse photos in the guest bedroom (left).
Since they’ve passed, my wife and her siblings redecorated. (middle)
My eclipse photos are now basically in the junk heap. (right)
Sure makes me feel valued.

Hmm. 90 min / 360° is .25 min per degree. Times 60 s per min is 15 sec per degree, which is 7.5 seconds per half degree.
However, I think that would be from the center of earth, which would also mess with the angular size.
In reality, if straight overhead it’s about half a second. This was ~1s.

That’s a beauty! I only had a 150-600mm lens with me (on a shaky tripod) this time. But my profile header pic and this attached was perhaps my favorite, with the telescope.

The actual ballot measure does mention Texas, but only in the background section.
The Yes/No vote didn't have any conditions. Simply that the new districts would be used until the 2030 census and then the commission would once again create districts.

But I did get to match the layout with a lunar eclipse, and the two prints look nice on the wall together.
