Oof. Tooth pain is the only thing that ever made me think I might faint. Luckily I found a dentist that got it out the same day. Hope that gets better.

Gods. I remember having to fill out paper forms just to start that waiting period - and having to walk that form around to various "heads of" to get a physical signatures.

It's the reason I often have "the sigh of death" when someone tells me, "Oh yeah, our application logs are in CloudWatch". Suuurrreee, where I'm never gonna be able to find them.
