Could it be that Toho is trying to get audiences used to the idea by the time Minus Zero releases if the Noriko being mutated rumors are true? Is it Toho wanting to have something akin to Kaiju No. 8 but with their own Kaiju? Is it some fixation from one of the hyper ups? (2/2)

I wonder if Toho is just pushing the general mutant/super power idea while leaving it up to the creatives to see if that is a good or bad thing.

I have a theory that this is Toho pushing the idea. Especially if Noriko becoming a mutant is a likely possibility in Minus Zero.
