yeah i can 100% get behind using manual bf for pieces like that! SE does too after all, it's just the ones that duplicate *everything* that should be more mindful of the tri count and whether what they're doing is reasonable

about the second to last point; i understand SE also uses manual backfaces for some of their armours. doing these things intelligently is fine but you do not need to duplicate *every single* part of your goddamn mesh when xiv's backface generation does the job just fine.

All you need to do is distance yourself from the official title. Don’t use official hashtags, make sure there’s no watermark, and post your smut. This is not the time to give in to censorship. yea people have been asking for invites to the servers of 2 new alternatives cropping up all around public xiv modding spaces...like don't trust strangers!! especially not if they pull up a mare alternative so quickly, it's very likely not secure!
