Chopper bumped into the devil and fell onto his back, a vacant stare in his eyes as he remained motionless.

"I can't abandon my friends! Stop concerning yourself with me and get behind me!"

Chopper's scrawny arms squeezed her tightly against his fluffy body as he rested his head lovingly against her shoulder, snoring softly for the next several minutes.

"Nngh~!"

"I'm always gonna be here... unless Luffy needs me for something."

"I'm sorry. I just thought you needed a hug. I didn't realize you didn't want to be seen."

"That's her exactly! She sure does love fish!"

Chopper smirked proudly at this reaction, glad to see that the woman enjoyed the candy she received. Without warning, Chopper hopped onto her back, clinging happily to the clown lady.

"I can take you to meet the Mermaid Princess some day if you wanna!"

"Saltwater taffy, chocolates with cream, and a bunch of stuff that mermaids made out of sweet kelp!"

Chopper seemed to speak of these mythical creatures as though he'd met some. It seemed he had gone on many adventures away from the fairly mundane city Harley was in.

"Ah... thank you then. I didn't realize you were so well acquainted with this Sin."

Chopper took the number and began messing with a smartphone he'd acquired since getting stuck in this place.

Chopper rubbed the back of his head anxiously, feeling bad for assuming such things about an entire species just because of what he'd heard on Earth. It seemed the worst demons were those born mortal if she was to be believed.

"Still... you're going out of your way for a stranger. Is that normal?"

Chopper walked over to a camping tent he'd set up in the nearby park and walked inside. After a minute, he walked out with an armful of gourmet candies from Fishman Island that surface dwellers could only dream about. "Here you go, Clown Lady!"

"I'm an angel now!?" Chopper cried happily and ran behind her to hide his shameful, tearful smile from her sight.

Chopper glanced up at her with the same concerned and confused frown on his face.

"Why do you concern yourself with me though? Aren't demons supposed to like evil stuff...? Does helping me get you something?"

Chopper let out a small squeak, squirming lightly in her embrace as he was held and stroked, unused to do much enthusiasm at how soft he was.

"Hnngh. You're too nice! What the heck!?" Pulling back to look at her eyes, Chopper smiled wider. "What can I do to repay you? You want some of my candy?"

Chopper's eyes widened almost fearfully at the rule she suggested, yanking his hoof from her grasp before looking it up and down as though checking for some kind of mark.

"Why? What happens if I do that!?"

Chopper squeaked in surprise when his cheeks were pet, blushing and likely allowing her to feel them heat up slightly.

"I can't do that~! I've got so many enemies! I can't let you get killed over my crew's issues!"
