Part Two takes us somewhere very different and much Worse. Much longer (albeit with shorter chapters and a more novel-like pace) and where horrors begin

It's important for me to have like four or so "best girls" in my narrative who could pretty easily kill each other if the circumstances shifted in their favor that specific day.

There's lots of foreshadowing to be paid off earlier and later into Singing Strix in Our Nest especially, but this is maybe the funniest and most wholesome bit. The rest is evil.
