A #ThursdayThrowback to Austria earlier this year, when we sang Haydn's Nelson Mass in the very place where Haydn composed & conducted, Esterhazy Palace. Ben was joined by Mini Papa Haydn, who got a lot of attention! For our choir, there’s an exciting announcement later about next year’s adventure 🎶

No Santa “Ho ho ho’s” for us just yet, but we are YO ho ho-ing our way into the week with a fun warm up! 🎶

Our Musical Director Ben, lives in Bristol... the home of the pirate voice (Blackbeard was from there you know!) & as Ben says, it’s amazing what the voice can do when you distract the brain

Has anyone ever given you the support to propel you forwards? When Patrick Hawes was a teacher at Pangbourne College decades ago, a commission to write the Wedding at Cana changed his life. Patrick talks about it with us. Here’s a clip & the full conversation is here:

So touched at the thought that our amazing Choir's voices from all around the world are filling this wonderful space in a museum dedicated to a charity that meant so much to Handel. Really quite special!
Hallelujah! It’s a privilege to be part of the Foundling Museum’s latest exhibition, A Grand Chorus: The Power of Music. It explores the life-affirming power of music through Handel’s ‘Hallelujah Chorus’. Ben headed there today & our voices can be heard throughout the museum. Very special indeed 🎶❤️
