I draw weird furries, bad guys, & other stuff. Mostly SFW, sometimes a boob.

Lately it's been a lotta rabbits.

I know all of our audience has already seen Old Wounds before, but I wish for to gaze upon it again, because it is soooo good and soooo fucked up. :)

Oh the possum is fantastic! Definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for that guy at MFF. 👀

I do hope you can find some space to reclaim what you love about art... you deserve to fully own that part of yourself.

And, too, I hope a better, healthier place to share art online comes back someday... artists deserve ways to socialize without these foul social media addiction loops.

I think you are objectively very talented (you and Sin both are). I know hearing that doesn't help but it is the truth!

Its worse out there for artists than its ever been & I don't know anyone, prof or hobbyist, who feels they're thriving on social media right now. It's really bad right now.

I've seen many talented people run afoul of Twitter-maybe they get sick/busy, or their new fav fandom is not as trendy... & struggle hard to find passion again once they see less likes. It's not even just "ppl don't like ur art" but "algo is hiding ur art"... but it shakes the self image regardless

I'm so sorry to hear that social media stole so much joy from you. I've seen that happen to a lot of artists I admire... I think age 30s and onward makes creating for fun more challenging no matter what your career is, but art as a job + social media both encourage harsh judgement of yourself.

Such a charming vintage style! Lovely work!

And here's the "favorite" series (same issue... I definitely did post these here, but any Bsky search involving my name spins endlessly and then spits out posts by Mark Hamill or something random): chocodile.tumblr.com/post/7891426...
It's all good

Here is the "most popular" comic (Tumblr link, since search here is so broken I can't find it, or even tell for sure if I posted it on Bluesky or not... GUESS THAT MEANS I GOTTA REPOST IT AGAIN):

"Playing the Part" Ambroys and Hyden discuss obligations and expectations after Ambroys makes a teeny tiny inconsequential little mistake.

Oh yeah I wouldn't do that myself I think. Lotta risk/expense and navigating the tax/legal side would be a pain (tho probably less intimidating if you speak the language and have lived there before!)

Would love to hear all about it as an attendee though! It sounds like an awesome opportunity.

Haha well you ABSOLUTELY DO need that Akihabara crap too. There's so much out there that just flat out doesn't exist on the English 'net or is 10x the cost, load up those suitcases! ...Cons are the most ethical consumption though, I'm sure there will be no shortage of excellent stuff all around.

It's definitely in the "looks like a hovering alien tentacle monster" growth stage!

Omg, I love your #fursuit! I got a picture with you in 2021.

Ooh I remember you! So cool to see this photo again! Denfur was AWESOME, I'd love to go back sometime! :D

BUT if you can work something that doesn't "use up" that creative energy, stash away a little nugget of it to take home after work, or on the weekends... then you can do your own project, free from interference. It'll be slower, sure, but that's better than it not happening at all!
November 23, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Absolutely, yep. My dad was in the game industry and complained that instead of working on new, cool, medium-pushing ideas, he was doing ports of baseball games & stuff like that... and, worse, if you do land on a cool, groundbreaking project, it can get culled by management for nonsense reasons. :I

I wish you luck in charting a new path and finding something that works for you! I feel like every artist whose joy for their craft gets stolen from them by industry mistreatment is a tragedy, getting that back is so important.
