Apparently municipal election campaigning starts a year in advance in #newwest. I got a door knock and an invitation to meet the NWP mayoral candidate at an upcoming townhall. TBH it was inappropriate and annoying.

I really like the new logo:
- celebrates labour
- reminds me of the annual tugboat parade
- replaces a god-damn crown
I wasn’t sold on the typeface immediately, but I’m warming up to it. The hardness of the N and W is an aggressive contrast to the soft waves. But NW is a city with intense contrasts
