A Buffy parody comic I drew titled "Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na . ."
In the first panel, there is a mob boss who has a shark's head and is holding his arms out wide as two vampire henchmen stand behind him. He says "Spiiiike, you disappoint me."
Panel 2 is an over-the-shoulder shot of the shark boss (who is saying "Nyaa") while Buffy and Spike stand in the background. Buffy looks shocked and is holding her hands to the sides of her face as she shouts "Holy sardine! A loan shark who's ACTUALLY a shark!" Spike frowns in contemplation, rubbing his chin, and says "Buffy. . ."
Panel 3 is a closeup of Spike holding his finger up and declaring authoritatively, "Get me the shark repellent spray!" In a reference to the 1960's Batman show.

Old Buffy--no, Angel comic #8. So this one's from the Angel series and fuck, I don't even remember who these characters are and I am NOT about to watch it again to try to find out. Once was more than enough.

A parody comic from the Buffy spinoff series Angel titled "Femuhnism." The first panel shows Lilah, one of the villains who has long hair and a scarf around her neck. She says "Well, it sucks that I died, but at least I left behind a legacy of being a woman who climbed to the top of an evil corporation by using her brains and tough-as-nails fortitude---" Someone off-panel says "Hey Lilah! Have you met your replacement?"
Panel 2 shows some ditzy woman with her arms around some sleazy chud with pierced ears and shitty 90's hair. I have no idea who these characters are anymore and I don't give a damn. Ditzy woman says "I don't care if I'm a tool of the Patriarchy as long as I can be with my boyyyyfriend!" Sleazy chud says "Hurr."
The final panel shows Lilah clenching her fists and screaming with rage, her eyeballs bulging out as she screams "FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU"

Old Buffy comic #7. One of my least favorite aspects of the series.

A Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic I drew titled "True Wuv." The first panel shows Buffy and Angel sitting together on a couch. Angel has his arm around her and Buffy says "But without my slayer powers I'm nothing! Just vapid and shallow." Angel says "Not a chance! I knew you even before you were a slayer."
In Panel 2, Buffy has turned towards Angel as he holds her hands. She says "Really?" Angel replies "Oh yes, I determined the nature of your personality and my feelings for you entirely by watching you walk down a flight of steps."
In panel 3, Buffy flings herself into his arms, overjoyed and says "So romantic!!" Angel says "I've basically been stalking you since you were fifteen."

A Buffy parody comic called "Giles has an answer for everything." In the first panel, Buffy is in a graveyard at night, having just stabbed a vampire and turned it to dust. Giles looks on approvingly and says "Very good, Buffy."
Panel 2 shows a closer view of Buffy and Giles as Buffy says "Say, Giles . . . why do vampires' clothes also turn to dust?" Giles replies "Oh. Well. . Obviously it's because the vampires' clothing is . . saturated with their sweat. . . undead sweat."
In the last panel Buffy says "Undead sweat?" and Giles crosses his arms and looks angrily intense as he replies "YES."

The Buffy parody comic I drew called "Angel the Deep Champion."
In the first panel, Angel and Spike are arguing and Angel points to himself and says "You may have a soul, Spike, but you'll never be as DEEP as me!" Spike says "Deep??"
In panel 2 Spike says "I'm a bloody maestro when it comes to emotions and matters of the heart. I see the truth and lay it out straight in the open when everyone else is too daft or blind to notice, oh, and I wanted to get my soul back so I went and endured unspeakable torment until I earned it . . . and my soul was so powerful it collapsed the hellmouth and saved the sodding world. What makes you deeper than that?"
In the last panel Angel leans forward, eyes closed, looking smug and says "I can do Tai-Chi." Spike yells "DAMMIT!"

I have seriously been cracking myself up over all the ridiculous faces I gave Angel in these comics. He's more expressive here than he ever was in the series. Anyway, here's to the ubiquitous lion roar.

A Buffy the Vampire Slayer satire comic I drew called "Rawr." Panel 1 shows Angel and Spike facing each other threateningly. Angel says "Spike!" and Spike says "Angel!" Panel 2 shows Buffy holding a stake and shouting "Guys! Guys! Don't fight!" Panel 3 is an over-the-shoulder shot of Buffy with Angel and Spike in the midground being surrounded by horned monsters hissing angrily. Buffy says "I mean, DO fight . . . just not each other."
In panel 4, Angel and Spike turn back-to-back to fight the monsters, roaring loudly. In panel 5 both of them stop abruptly, surprised. Angel says "What the. . ." Spike says ". . .bloody hell?" Angel says "That sounded like a lion's roar!" Spike says "Where did it even come from?" In panel 6, Spike holds up a finger as if he has an idea and says "I've got it! There must be a lion hiding somewhere in this room!" Angel frowns and says "A lion . . . hiding, hmm??" Spike says "Well, there's no way WE could be making these sodding noises!" Angel says "You are very stupid."
Panel 7, Angel says "I know! There must be someone hiding in this room who's playing stock lion roar sound effects!" Spike says "Whyyy would ANYONE do that?" In panel 8 Angel looks confused and Spike scratches his head in befuddlement. The last panel shows Buffy fighting the monsters by herself in the background as Angel and Spike both lift up a couch to look under it. Buffy shouts "Guys?? Little help, here!" Angel says "Not now, Buffy." Spike says "We have GOT to find that lion!"

An old Buffy comic I made, featuring Angel and Spike from a scene I can't remember well, probably from the Angel series. In the first panel Spike and Angel are standing in a graveyard and Spike says "I'm glad it's you, though. Finally doin' me in. Feels right . . .you bein' my grandsire and all."
In panel 2, Spike taps his chin thoughtfully and looks confused. He says ". .Or were you my sire? I seem to remember saying that once. ."
Angel looks grumpy and says "But you said I was your Yoda. It's like you don't even know me!"
In panel 3 Spike drapes an arm around Angel's shoulders and lights a cigarette. He says "Whatever, gramps." Angel glares even more furiously and says "You don't know me at all!"

A 3-panel satire comic I drew about Buffy the Vampire slayer. The caption says "What if Angel showed up in Season 6?" The first panel shows Angel bursting into a room and saying "Buffy! I need your help in protecting my improbable son from a deranged vampire hunter! Did I mention I have a son?" The second panel shows that Buffy and Spike are in the room and in the middle of having sex. Buffy looks shocked and Spike says "Uh. . .could you come back in like, twenty minutes?" The third panel shows a closeup of Angel's face, glaring fiercely enough to melt God.
