People self diagnosing themselves with autism and/or ADHD on instagram and Tik Tok or pretending to be neurodivergent is absolutely disgusting to those that actually are neurodivergent (been diagnosed) and struggle everyday with it.

Seeing the box of communion wafers in my mamaw’s pantry reminds of the time I got in big trouble for stealing and eating wafers as a kid before communion at church. It was my way of protesting church as a kid. Even as a child I knew churches were places of hate where people judged you.

The only problem I have with the film “Mary and Max,” is the outdated use of the term Asperger’s, but other than that it’s a near perfect representation of high functioning autism. It has a tad stereotypical autistic characteristics but the majority is spot on.

Watching Planes, Trains, and Automobiles for like the 50th time. I need laughter sometimes after getting overstimulated. Family doesn’t always understand or care about that when it comes to neurodivergence.

My roommate’s overprotective parents are annoying as hell. Autism does not automatically mean mentally challenged. Get a grip! Just wish there was something I could do but he allows it sadly.
