I can see that for sure. While Stone Mountain is a beautiful area of Georgia, I'm not surprised that the travel time was a constant factor.

Yep! And depending on traffic, there's going to be one of several ways to get there LOL. Plus, an hour of my time is worth it if I'm getting to spend it with someone I care about. Hell, at home in the Midwest, I'd drive a couple hours for that and it's nothing. If that makes me weird, oh well. lol

I was just in Decatur for a few weeks and it surprised me at how many of my local friends thought I'd be unwilling to drive 45min-1hr to see them. Like, the damn city is fucking huge. The metro area is even bigger, and life happens beyond the perimeter too. Makes no sense.

It just might! I brush mine up my neck and outward while using low speed heat (not necessarily low heat) and then again back down my face/neck to set it in place while applying the same heat from the hair dryer. Usually doing it in both directions helps to dry it and get the tangles out. ❤️❤️

Also don’t bog it down with a bunch of oils and stuff. I use a tiny amount when I want it to smell good but otherwise I just let it be natural. YMMV when it comes to this, though, and you’ll find a routine that you like but the biggest thing I can suggest is to brush it out on the reg. ❤️

Let it grow. 😅 I wash mine maybe once a week, depending on how it feels, and I use a low speed hair dryer and a round brush to brush it out when I’m drying it. Your hair will reach a natural terminal length, and that’ll help you determine how to shape it.
