If I have any advice on sourcing manufacturers it's literally just that you gotta spend time googling, and then sending prospective manufacturers a message to ask *them* a lot of questions lol
you will learn very quickly about what to ask, production processes, what a manu can/can't do etc

pmo when people post "sharing my manufacturers because I don't ~gatekeep~" and it's something like vistaprint. no one is gatekeeping vistaprint. it's on the first page of google. all manus shared in these types of engagement posts are easy google searches

when I try to do a "safer" design and roll it out at the same time as a more adventurous design, the more adventurous one almost always ends up being more popular; I keep getting evidence that sticking to my more unique concepts pays off 💦

I'm actually kinda bummed that the convention is on halloween this year, because I bought this huge bag of just different kinds of nerds candy to give to kids (nerds is a top tier halloween candy imo) but we weren't home until a lot of kids were probably done for the night :x

Been working so much behind the scenes the last few days trying to make sure the collab stuff goes smoothly + working out the details for the region license expansion,,,I couldn't say anything publicly until we got things confirmed so every time I saw someone say "oh NA only :(" I was like noo000

There was such a large amount of interest in the collab items from people in regions outside of USA/Canada, that we were able to expand the licensing contract to include many more regions such as UK, Germany, Japan, South Korea, etc.!

I've been working pretty much nonstop to answer questions, emails, handle launch-related things on top of my other regular tasks; the reception to the collab items has been stronger and a lot more busy than I expected so it's taking me a while to get through it all 💦

I just continually find it mind-boggling that this is my career now, the thing I make a living from, when 1) I used to be absolutely horrendous at dressing myself and 2) I grew up with that whole "you can't make a living doing art and design, realistically" thing being repeated to me endlessly
