i drew that shedletsky on impulse because i was genuinely a bit mad that people dont draw shedletsky as fat unless its to be funny/a bad thing . if you comment with a fat joke, i drew that in spite of You to celebrate his commonly headcanoned bodytype (amongst forsaken fans who find it shameful.)

its still really important to me and i do like it. but i highly doubt ill ever be super into it again. maybe if the graphic novel is written better than the series wrt pacing itll suck me in but thats likely not going to happen

largely had look outside, brandon works, and the kids from forsaken in mind when writing this but like. theres many more examples these are just the ones ive been thinking of lots lately

childhood is more than just a concept and media like brandon works means a lot to me. sometimes kids are hurt. sometimes hurt kids harm other children, intentional or accidental or while just trying to help or being malicious. children are people too, yknow?

like yeah media about childrens tragedies has been around. but a lot of the time it was used for shock value, the horror of the image of innocence being brought to harm. instead of seeing kids as people who are vulnerable due to inexperience with life, and seeing People hurt being tragic
