I often say "i'm sorry" as a phrase of empathy like "i'm sorry (to hear that)" and everyone is like "no it's not your fault" like I meant it literally and I thought I was weird until I saw a video talking about translation and how that's a thing like COOL I'M NOT WEIRD THANK GOD
