Eggman's still trying to normalize the presence of a little blue hedgehog into his base. As for Sonic, he's trying to get used to the doctor's...yelling.
(Tbh, this felt weird but like any child, you'd be surprised to suddenly get yelled at right? This is that kinda situation.)
